"Visiting family and got to see the home my grandmother grew up in! The hotel staff were warm and welcoming and our stay was comfortable. The “pool” was definitely not for relaxing. It’s an exercise club and lap swimming was intense. The sauna was awesome though! Food was excellent!"

"We went for one night as a Christmas present. Was really looking forward to using the spa. A bit disappointed as we could hardly find a spot to put our robes & towel as it was packed. Not the hotels fault though as I think a few guests were staying as they had no electricity or water, due the extreme storm we had. Couldn’t use the outdoor pool or go on a walk in the grounds because of this. Will just have to come back, hopefully. Staff are all lovely and so was the food."

"The breakfast was always wonderful. Everything was very clean. My biggest problem was the location. It was farther away from Cavan than I expected. In addition, I was unable to connect to cellular phone service from my room. Lastly, the owner advised me that she could not accept my credit card even though my credit card is from a European bank, only cash. Overall, I would not choose this property again regardless of the price. "
