"We were given an upgrade to a fabulous room on the 3rd floor, that had an expansive view of the ocean from 2 balconies. We came back to this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary after our honeymoon there 48 years ago. Absolutely loved it. the Bali Beach Hotel has been tastefully renovated, is very well located "

"This hotel is decent, but I think what bothers me is the fact that it’s advertised as a five-star hotel. When you compare this to other five stars in Bali that we’ve stayed at, there’s really no comparison. You get much nicer rooms, more helpful staff, better breakfast buffets, nicer pools, and pretty much everything else is better at other five stars. This is a 3.5 star at best. And although this stay was fine, it’s definitely lacking in some ways. The only thing that I really saw that bothered me was watching one of the cooks walk out of one of the bathroom stalls after going number two and not washing his hands and walking straight into the kitchen. That was pretty disturbing."

"Ocean was visable but the rice fields were much more interesting, the bats at night and swiftlets in the day were lovely to watch. The staff were amazing, and the food even better. The property could do with a bit of a refresh in a few places, but we're in a tropical climate so kind of understandable. Would highly recommend this hotel, its very professional and looks after you, and confidently clean. Love it"
