"I don’t know why anyone would give this place 5 stars. Staff don’t respect boundaries, personal space, or privacy. Each unit gets a set amount of electricity. If you use up your allotment, then you are SOL like I was on a Sunday night at ~9:40pm. Then instead of electricity, you get a chirping noise every 0.8 seconds that never freaking stops! I left early. Absolutely the worst hotel experience I’ve had in 20 years of living in Asia. "

"I have been here twice now and enjoyed my stay both times. They have made some improvements since last time. The room is lovely with outdoor kitchen, dining and lounge. Love the pool, the large grassy area and the gardens. Staff are friendly. The area is much busier now with music coming from the nearby bars and restaurants at night. I think you’d hear this where ever you were staying in the area. It didn’t really bother us. There is a new restaurant and bar being built at the property. Not sure...

"In general a lovely villa for a short stay in Bali with a beautiful private pool. The towels and sheets were a bit worse for wear though, and we did not get daily house keeping on one occasion and the bottled water was not replenished. "

"Really nice, very spacious property with a large (30m) shared pool. It is some way out of Sanur but a taxi is less than £3 each way (use Grab app). Staff are incredibly helpful and will serve breakfast or any other meals for a very reasonable cost and do all washing up etc. Local beach is not for swimming in but makes for a nice walk into the port. "

"The staff at Taman are so lovely. Nothing was too much. Villas were nice but lacked some things. A microwave would be great, hair dryer in each villa and air con in main living room. A good place for peace and quiet as you can’t walk places. The pool in villa was lovely and kept clean. Tv in a bedroom would also be nice as when you have kids all they want to watch is cartoons. "

"We found the property was really run down. The smell from all the drains were really bad. Kitchen was very old. On a good point the bed was massive and always had clean sheets. It was just ok if you want to stay for a few nights we stayed for 3 weeks the smell just got to us. Great location and the staff very friendly. "

"Very pleasant stay in our 2 bedroom with private pool villa. Excellent service by very friendly and helpful staff especially DIKA and breakfast crew. Lovely to have the warm private pool at your doorstep. The hotel supply a shuttle that drops you off to many places and are more than happy to pick you up as well. The road noise at night is not a problem at all as it’s very quiet considering it’s on a busy road. Very pleasant stay. "
