"Cheap and very basic. Handy to find somewhere for £60 a night that has a fridge, mini kitchen. Underground parking cost extra. Breakfast was basic, not much choice. Worst thing was that it’s right on top of railway lines and from about 5am onwards you hear a loud alarm going off (to warn of an oncoming train) followed by the thunderous noise of the train going past "

"We had an amazing time at this hotel! The rooms are impeccable, the spa, the pool and the general atmosphere is very relaxing and very welcoming! We liked the service, especially at the bar and the buffet style restaurant La Veranda.The only slight disappointment was the fact that we were not able in 5 days of our stay to book a dinner reservation at Les Fresques. The lady at reception was not helpful at all. Overall, we had a great time at this resort and this little inconvenience did not...

I stayed for a long weekend, and although the room was very nice, and I got a balcony, there was a bit of a stale smell in the bathroom, and although opening a window helped, it was not very handy being it was a bit cold. "Perfect location for visiting Chillon Castle. And the hotel itself is full of history, retaining its bel epoque charm. Loved it! Their special 4 course dinner is completely worth it.
