"The people were real friendly when we arrived. They didn’t speak English & our Mexican spanish didn’t cut it. We were able to communicate thru emails. There was not a comfortable place to sit. We were hoping to sit by the pool, but, the wood lounge chairs were hard. The pool was great at first, but, after lots of guests had used it, it was dirty. "DO NOT STAY HERE. They claimed they didn’t have my reservation, when 1 day before I confirmed with them and then the day of said they didn’t have anything. Thankfully didn’t end up staying here. There are so many other hotels to choose from, stay away from here. "

"Once we got to Puerto Iguazú we couldn't find a taxi driver that was famíliar with the address. Once we found a spot with WiFi and pulled up a map, it was no problem. Don't have them take you to Hotel Carmen as that is a different place. I liked the location and it was gated, safe, and quiet. The apartment was as expected and comfortable for an overnight stay. No living room or couch, but we didn't need it. Air conditioning and refrigerator/freezer worked fine. I didn't try the stove. One down...

"This was perfect for a 1 night stay to see Iguazu Falls. Communication was very easy with the hotel and they sent a taxi for free to the airport to collect me. The room was spacious with separate eating area and breakfast (orange juice, coffee, croissant, apple & banana) was provided to our room. "

"Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Our steak dinners at the restaurant were excellent, and the breakfast buffet has a very good selection of hot and cold food. We walked to the city centre and back from Tres Fronteras, but at a slow pace because of the hot weather We enjoyed the swimming pool in the morning before leaving. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend."

"We had a wonderful stay at Overo! All the staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, the grounds is incredibly lush and filled with a spectacular array of plants, including giant bamboo and monstera, avocados, bananas and pineapples and a lovely array of tropical flowers. The two pools, one of which is quite large, are shared by only 8 cabanas so you often feel like it’s your own resort. The cabin was charming, well stocked and very clean and comfortable, with very good AC (though the house stays nice and cool under all the lush tree cover). A la carte Breakfasts are delivered to your cabin each morning and include fresh squeezed juices, hot milk for coffee, house made granola and other special touches. The highlight of our stay, however, were the dinners in the beautifully designed restaurant. Each meal was unbelievably good and two of the three nights we were the only diners (despite the resort being fully booked). Every dish we had was a delight both visually and gastronomically. Service was impeccable, and extra care was taken to accommodate my husbands gluten allergy. We felt like we had a Michelin chef serving is or own private meal each night! Can’t recommend this place highly enough. "

"We found the property to be clean, well run and extremely convenient being situated literally across the road from the main bus station with links to the airport, Iguassu Falls Park and even directly to the Paraguay side of the river. The staff were friendly and professional, in particular Gonzalo who helped with travel advice and nothing was too much trouble. The outdoor pool was a welcome relief from the heat of the day and we made full use of it. We would recommend this hotel to travellers."
