"Auf einer Reise von Bulgarien nach Deutschland hatten wir aufgrund des ausgebuchten IBIS Hotels diese Unterkunft gewählt. Ein schönes, einfaches Hotel. Sehr verärgert hat uns, dass wir am Morgen der Abreise erfahren mussten, dass der Parkplatz 10 Euro kostet. Nicht wegen der Gebühr, diese zahlt man woanders auch z. B. für eine Tiefgarage, aber bei der Ankunft einem den Parkplatz zu geben mit einem Zettel für das Auto ohne die Kosten zu erwähnen, ist für mich Abzocke. So etwas macht man...

"The hotel is definietly not 4*, it's dark, dated and old. The room was clean, but you can see that they only spend money on maintenance if they need to. Cracked sink in the bathroom, with the cheapest handsoap/no shower gel or shampoo provided. No kettle or other tea/coffee making facilities, the minibar is super expensive. The breakfast was very basic, with limited options available after 8 (eventhough it's finishing at 10:30)."

"Lovely little hotel, down by the river front in a very convenient location to explore Gyor. We treated ourselves to a suite for my partner's birthday and it was fabulous - really spacious and modern. Staff (particulraly the lady on reception!) were lovely and couldnt do enought to help. Gyor is a charming city and this hotel a great place to stay."

"Although the property is older, it is definitely well taken care of. Close to the older part of town and less than a ten minute walk from the train station you can't go wrong staying here. I will say it was one of the smallest beds I've ever slept on. One other cool note, the Pope stayed here once! "

"This is our absolute favorite place in Gyor. We keep coming back. The staff goes above and beyond to help you in every way. It is beautiful, spotlessly clean and in a great location. "Residential area, quiet. Staff were great, room well equipped. Only a few minutes from public transport and the city centre. Generally had a slightly worn look - furniture, etc but ok. Fridge in room was very noisy 24/7 and the air-con didn't work effectively - in need of a service perhaps? Breakfast was very basic, eggs cold (cooked for 7am?), if there was any left. I was ok with the stay especially with the very helpful and friendly staff."
