"Fantastic experience and perfect base to explore the island if your interests run more towards hiking and exploring than shopping and beaches. Parking was plentiful and nearby, and loads of amenities out the door in Porto Moniz. Breakfast was varied and high quality. Free use of the natural pools just outside the hotel was a welcome plus. Highly recommend. "

and pools. Great service and breakfast. Basement pool needs renovating…which was started anfter our departure we were told. Ask for mattress toppers as the beds are very hard. Helps a bit."
