"Stunning property with so much heart and soul. Relaxing and tranquil retreat. Beautiful design. You’ll love having an aperitivo under the stately oak trees, having breakfast/dinner with a panoramic view over the valley, relaxing in a hammock with a book, etc. Lots of great activities (hikes, historic sites, cute villages) in the nearby area, and that’s before you even get to the justifiably famous coastline and Maddalena islands (only 30 minutes to coast). "Excellent breakfast. Super friendly staff Gorgeous pool Very clean Beautiful location. Beautiful village of San Pantaleo is a five minute drive/30 min walk with great bars and restaurants. Rooms are a little dated but you will only sleep in it. Not much to do when the sun goes down. You MUST get a hire car to explore the locality or be stuck on site where there is only a bar with a singer/pianist. Drinks are very expensive but no one complained when you drank our own. GET A HIRE CAR....."

"Lovely setting, very welcoming and a spacious room. The pool area and bar are the real standouts with the staff creating a great ambience. The hotel itself is quite isolated so a car is a must. The breakfast service was strangely dominated by a ‘Basil Fawltyesque’ head waiter who made the atmosphere of the dining room akin to the moon. I believe the hotel are aware! Overall recommended."
