"We had a great stay at Gilmer. It is situated well in the CBD close to restaurants, shops, and the harbor. The apartment was clean and spacious for two, and having a washer was helpful at this point in our trip. Parking was easy, though there are limited spots."

"This was a great budget option. The staff was friendly and helpful the building and room were clean. It felt safe and the best part was it’s a short 5min walk to Cuba Street!!! There are only two tiny changes that would have made it better. The top half of the windows were dirty. I am 5’5” and the dirt was right at my eye level. It looked like the cleaners didn’t have a squeegee to reach that tiny bit further. The second thing was the shades for the windows had gaps so that you could see out and other rooms could see in so that was a privacy issue. However even with these two glitches I would stay here again it was great value for dollars!!"
