"The property location is incredibly convenient for all activities from sightseeing to dining to local transportation. Our room was a suite which was comfortable and clean, but not overly spacious. We did not eat any meals at the hotel restaurant, but had excellent espresso martinis for nightcaps on a couple evenings. The staff was fine-not overly friendly but cordial. We would stay here again mainly because of the location. "

"My partner and I stayed here for three nights. The location was perfect, equally distanced from points of interests, busy shopping blocks, markets, restaurants, train stations and trolley stops! The rain shower in our room was excellent and alone worth the price of admission. The reception and wait staff were all very friendly and inviting. "Wonderful stay in an amazing, historic area of Lisbon. Staff was also wonderful. One thing to be aware of though, is that the hotel is located in a street with limited access. So if you drive or take taxi/uber, you will have to walk a very steep cobblestone street. If you have lots of luggage, make arrangements with the hotel. They are very accommodating. "

There is a bad smell in all of the rooms that we visited and common areas for certain, as referenced in other reviews.
