"This hotel was in a great position to walk into Funchal old town either along the promenade or down the many side streets. There is also a lovely park nearby with cafes. We got the Aerobus from the airport which drops you off within a 2 min walk (stop number 10) 6 euros. The breakfast every morning was amazing, continental,full english,cereals,fruit,pastries even smoked salmon on some days. There are 2 available swimming pools. One is a short walk over a bridge and down by the sea. The smaller one is in the garden which we used every day. All the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Our room was clean and tidy and very quiet."

"There are plenty of food options available for selection for your meals. The staff was very attentive to our needs and provided to-go lunches to take on our excursions - simply need to order day before and pick up on our way out. They also offer bus service to and from Funchal (need to check bulletin for schedule). The front desk team took initiative with providing a very nice birthday cake and champagne-truly appreciated. Highly recommend and hope to be back again."
