"We always use this hotel when we have to fly out of Malaga airport. It is close to the airport, lots of restaurants nearby and very close to the beach. Our flights are super early in the morning so we can’t have breakfast before we leave, but the hotel arranged for us to have a go away meal which was much appreciated! "

"Great boutique hotel. Wonderful owners. We did have a bit of a problem finding it. A building number on the front (street) side would help. A few more hooks and a toilet roll holder in the bathroom would also be nice. Wonderful restaurants and cafes only a block or two away, but it would be nice to have a coffee pot or kettle in the room, or coffee/tea available onsite in the morning. Definitely would stay there again though!!"

"We stayed at the Malaga Airport Travelodge on the evening of Wednesday 13 November 2024. This was a last minute booking - heavy rain and flooding meant we couldn’t travel to our hotel in central Malaga. So we booked a room at this Travelodge for one night. "Lovely quiet little hotel rather than the taller highly populted ones, tucked away, a short walk down to the promenade. Plenty of choices for breakfast but you are in Spain so don't expect a full english. The staff are very pleasant and were more than happy to help when asked. Rooms are spacious with large bathroom and individual patio or balcony. Small but lovely saltwater pool, heated in the winter. Highly recommended "

"This was our third year visiting the Icon Malabar. We like the location, the helpful and friendly staff, the lovely rooms and buffet breakfast. The only downside was the outside noise from local bars and early morning refuse collectors but that’s something that is beyond the hotel’s control."

Great place to stay

"Had a great time at this large hotel. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Our room had recently been renovated and was spotlessly clean. The hotel is very close to the beach and an easy walk to bars and restaurants etc. Hotel bar has entertainment every evening which was very good and varied. Prices were reasonable and the staff were very efficient."
