"After a rocky start at the hotel (did not have our paid reservation documented - good thing I travel with all of my proof and did not have to pay again as the Igloo requested...) Great stay and vacation, "igloo" rooms were cool and clean and pool was refreshing after the beach... however, misleading advertising as the "lodge" is NOT beachfront, does not have a spa nor gym and does not have premium rooms which we paid extra for, and is NOT a 2 minute walk to Manuel Antonio Park...

"What a wonderful place! We booked the cheapest room and stayed only 1 night but we absolutely loved it and wished we had stayed longer. Monkeys came to our balcony and we saw more monkeys and an iguana on the way to the beach (a 5 minute walk downhill). Great restaurant options in the area within walking distance. We took a taxi to the National Park for less than 4$USD and left our luggage and vehicle with reception after checkout. We never made it to the pools. Would stay again and would...
