"This is a really quiet couples and family location. The balcony is huge and especially the top floor, really private with sun beds. Very nice cafe on site, with a really healthy breakfast option. Its a really good location as a base to hire a car and see the rest of the island. Really nice village/ beach location near by. Los medano is just one. "The good ratings are just related to Delia, the most attentive (and competent) receptionist I have ever encountered in my trips. The hotel is basic and dated, no air con so not good for summer. Breakfast is average and the walls are paper thin. Also, the lack of private parking adds stress as you never know where you will find space. The studio was conformable and well equipped. Recommended if you plan just to sleep there as well placed for a quiet night."

"Very good all rounder. Food was not as good for early week and better later in the week for dinner. The doors to the balcony rattle at night, keeping people awake. The staff are great though, very likeable. Good gym but a bit far from the main hotel. Overall, really enjoyed my stay with the beautiful views, old style music and overall great atmosphere. "

"Clean and most importantly quiet, far away from the drunken louts of Los Cristianos, we even slept well over New Year. Decent breakfast and lots of restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Staff excellent, pricey over New Year but fair. Decent pool, lots of parking nearby. Hilly area but within the resort suitable for anyone. "

"The hotel had a lovely view of the volcano and the mountains, but it was quite a long walk away from high street down a steep hill. It wasn’t a problem to do the walk a couple of times, but definitely not every day. "Beautiful hotel the rooftop pool and bar is perfect. The only thing that let it down was the food I ordered the squid ink croquettes they were frozen inside and had to be replaced. We also paid for a buffet on Christmas Day evening it was pretty lack lustre and not a good selection we left unimpressed and hungry. Would love to stay again but not get involved with the food."

"Great place to stay, just out of Puerto de la Cruz but still very much walkable (a bit hilly coming back from town), would stay again"

"Room was tidy. Mattresses are firm. No car parking on site, but only a 5 min walk to a car park. Staff were friendly. Wifi didn’t work at all for 9 nights. When showering, make sure the front power switch is on or the water won’t heat up. The location is perfect. Township right at your door. "
