"Belambra purchased the Club Med Avoriaz site. It's in a prime location in a breathtakingly bucolic setting in the French Alps above Morzine another notable Apline town. We purchased a 1-week, all inclusive package for four - 2 rooms, 2 adults each - for us and our two adult children (25 & 27), who shared a room. Rooms are quite small, with little room to move around, but practical, with enough closet and shelve space, a shower ans separate toilet. Our rooms had a wonderful view of the town below...

"We had an amazing time at this hotel! The rooms are impeccable, the spa, the pool and the general atmosphere is very relaxing and very welcoming! We liked the service, especially at the bar and the buffet style restaurant La Veranda.The only slight disappointment was the fact that we were not able in 5 days of our stay to book a dinner reservation at Les Fresques. "Weather was perfect, the location is amazing. You do not need a car as the train station is next fo the hotel and the village has superb transport to get around to the mountains and restaurants. Everything is close enough to walk within 10 mins and the view is breathtaking being surrounded by mountains."

"I chose this IBIS hotel based on air conditioned rooms (not easy to find in Thonon), distance from family members who live in the area and consistency with room/hotel amenities. The room was clean, minimally equipped as per expected (no tea kettle/coffee maker, fridge, etc.). The bed was reasonably comfortable (not hard as a rock) which is not always easy to find in Europe based on American standards however biased. It was nice to have a few English speaking tv channels to watch as well. The breakfast was adequate though I thought the IBIS Central location in Thonon had a better spread overall last time I stayed there. The abundant free parking outside the hotel was a major plus. I will definitely stay here again."
