"A unique place to stay that really ticked the boxes - I stayed as part of a group and each of us enjoyed the experience, the birds, meerkats, tortoises & reptiles adding to an amazing stay! The bird show (included in price) was good and the staff extremely knowledgeable - the self contained rooms were very clean & comfortable and having a kitchenette with fridge/toaster etc was perfect, the en-suite shower room was large & again very clean - highly recommend a stay here!"

"One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The service was 11/10. Really attentive and friendly from all areas. Food menu not extensive but I enjoyed my meal. The pool was lovely. The changing room lockers being code rather than key was great and I liked the facility to be able to dry my costume. The room was spacious and modern with lots of plugs and had a separate shower as well as a bath. There was a fridge but it didn’t seem switched on. Didn’t faff but would have been nice if it was cold....

"Its a lovely old manor house set in its own lovely grounds and is part of Cambridge University. It is set on the southern side of the city. Check out is a very civilised 11am. It has a spacious bar with a garden terrace which does a limited menu but there is a pub a short walk away if you want something more substantial and a larger selection of beers. "It was a nice room, clean and quiet. I would’ve liked some wash clothes in the bathroom and a fridge. The shower did not have incredibly hot water, more like warm even with the tap turned full blast hot. The breakfast was a little expensive. One bright spark was Jack. The door lock batteries died. He was quick and responsive getting them replaced. An asset to this hotel. Someone who understands customers and service. "

"Wonderful hotel. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.They know they have drivers that don't have blue badges park in disabled bays but they have a way that only blue badge holders use them which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was a lovely. A nice choice of cereal, toast with spreads and tea and coffee. What can you ask for, a free breakfast. What a perfect way to start the day "

"The staff were lovely and really helpful. The room we were booked into had a problem with the heating and, after trying to fix the problem which unfortunately didn’t work, we were moved to another room which was perfect. Food in the evening was very good."

"Great location! About a 5-10 minute walk to everything in Cambridge. The biggest pain is how bad the traffic is getting to the hotel and really only having the option for valet parking. But it was a wonderful stay. The staff was top notch as were all the facilities. Another guest had room service and left their tray in the hall for what seemed like a very long time. But other wise it was great!"

Best hotel stay ive had yet.

"It was a birthday treat and i couldnt have been more happier. It was near everything necessary and i didnt find it too noisy. Everyone was welcoming and professional. It was clean. Bed was so comfortable. Best night sleep either of us has had in a long time. The bathroom was spacious and the claw footed bath really added to it. Was so enjoyable to bathe at the end of a long busy day. "
