"We thought the host was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. Wanting to please and help any way she could. We had to arrive late and she waited for us to arrive. Our room was very clean as was the bathroom. She did offer to wash up some clothes for us as we are traveling on the road. "Service by Francesco was excellent. The room itself was very comfortable and very modern. The best bathroom I have encountered along my travels. Parking is very secure. Outside of the B&B is very dirty, and unattractive. Eating was limited and there is nothing to do. We traveled to Taranto for the day but could not get passed the dirtiness and smell in some parts. Grateful for our stay at Hibiscus but won’t be returning."

"Nice place, good airco, in the old town close to restaurants etc. Breakfast was sad (pre-packed toast, butter and jam). The city of Taranto is not very nice, a lot of boarded up homes, streets at dirt etc. There is not much to do. I thought the price of the room was high considering that city."

"There are a couple of areas where this property falls short. Firstly it advertises parking but there is no parking, you are taking your chances on a very busy downtown street. You get charged another 10 euro a day if you dare to use the air conditioning and it must be in cash. Half a small pottle of yogurt each for breakfast is a touch inadequate. However the rooms are clean, tiny but clean. "
