"This property is clean and well maintained. Checking in took a long time and seemed a bit disorganized. The staff there are friendly and very helpful. The pool areas were good. The upper pool didn’t have enough loungers, only 6/7 while the smaller pool had about 2 dozen. They have paid attention to details in the room like flip flops, beach bag, umbrellas etc to make your stay worry free. 7-11 is a 2 minute walk where we got all our snacks and drinks. "Overall our stay was good but could have been better! Rooms are spacious and beds are comfy and atmosphere is very nice, very resort vibe. "The Pakasai resort was beautiful. It was in a great location. Just a short walk to Ao Nang and close to all the shops and restaurants. It had all the amenities that you could ask for and they even had room service. The only complaint was that there were no elevators. There were steps on steps on steps. Which was the case for many of the Hotels in Thailand. If you have orthopedic issues just ask for a room on the ground floor. You will love the resort. "

Centara Ao Nang Beach Resort & Spa Krabi

Great for kids!

"Shout out to David and Tina - the two remarkable folks managing the kids activities. You both made a huge difference to our kids and the overall trip - thanks so much! The hotel is nice - the breakfasts aren't anything you are going to write a review about - but they are fine and varied and not too bad. The restaurant at the beachside pool is very yummy if a bit expensive. Don't miss dinner there with the trio of young ladies singing and the fireshow - lots of fun. The pools were the highlight of the trip! We were happy to be in one of the poolside family suites and it worked really well for us. The downside as others have mentioned were the folks at the front desk - perfunctorily friendly and absolutely unhelpful - don't ask them for anything, don't lose anything, don't have any special requests because it's not going to happen. They may acknowledge an issue, but they won't actually do anything about it. Having said that - it's a nice place with nice people - you'll enjoy it."

Very comfortable stay

"Mr. and Mrs. S. stayed here for 11 nights. We were welcomed very nice and warm and felt like home right from the beginning. The resort and its staff is wonderful. The poolarea is great and we enjoyed many happy hours there. Special thanks must be given to the cook of the restaurant. He is understanding his job very well and we enjoyed everything he offers in the large menue. The waiters are also very kind and try to improve the overall experience. Sometimes things go a little weird and not exactly according to international standards. Here a little training could be set up, but this is a thing of the hotel management and certainly and foremost not of the staff itself in a 4* accomodation. Another interesting thing is the hotels neighborhood, an astonishing colllection of CBD shops, mushroom shops, massage shops, minimarkets and laudries, an incredible contrast. Not shure, if this is a good thing for Thailand and/or Krabi in the longterm. "Mai pen rai", the Thai motto when things don't go according to plans, helps a lot! Just smile and enjoy this beautiful resort in this beautiful country of Thailand -:)"

Nice Hotel in Town Centre

"Lovely hotel in the centre of town and a short walk to the beach. Clean, friendly and had a great little gym and modern, tasty restaurant. We only stayed 1 night and was on the front of the hotel as we had requested mountain view. The street outside is very noisy and may have been an issue if we stayed longer, but as we went to bed late and rose early, then we actually were not affected by outside noise. Very nice hotel if staying in town, very good quality."
