"Great location but service is below par. Ferry from pier to hotel can be a hassle. Checkin experience was slow and painful too. Staff is courteous but doesn’t seem too bothered towards customer comfort or requirements. However, the location is great and private beach is nice too. So if you are here for few days of quiet, relaxed holiday - it’s fine. But if you want to go to other parts too , it can be a hassle and you would loose time in transfers. Food / restaurants at the hotel are expensive...

"One of the best places i have ever stayed. I suggest one of the bungalows to stay in. I was in 314 and had the monkeys chilling in the tree in front of my door almost every morning. Will stay there again for sure on my next visit. They do not serve alcohol but you are steps away from it or you can stock up the fridge, not a negative in my opinion. "

"Great bed, nice balcony overlooking the pool. Quieter then I anticipated walking distances to beach and dining roof top pool was nice.staff were all very helpful and efficient.Room could be stuffy after being out there was sometimes smell of the septic. Good value for what we paid"

"Loved our stay at Varana Hotel in Krabi. The staff was amazing. The hotel is gorgeous and quiet. We were looking for a bit more quiet and relaxing stay and that's exactly what we got. The food at the restaurants is great. You have to walk accross the street to get to the beach which is gorgeous. The water is shallow so you're able to walk to a small island. Would definitely stay here again."

"We absolutely loved our stay at tree villas one of the best from our thailand holiday The staff was so friendly and helpful Eco friendly villa Was quiet island so we enjoyed Also because this island was only accessible by boat. They organised for us pick up service from Phuket airport and drop of service to hotel in Phuket back and the it was all organised well They explained to us all the amenities at the villa and free tours to go to khai pak island and we did snorkeling there was good....

"Fabulous hotel on a beautiful beach - rooms were excellent, staff lovely and beautiful hotel grounds. Some nice beach bars along the beach. Only downside were noisy guests in room above very late at night but not hotels fault "

"We had a beachfront and a grand luxury. The area is quiet, safe, and shops and food across the street. Walk to the beach and long tails and restaurants also accessible. Room is clean. We had some friendly frog visitors and a monkey on the roof. Breakfast selection good for all tastes. Would stay again. "

"Excelente hotel. Super limpo. Desde o momento do check in ao check out fui tratada com muita educação e cordialidade. Quarto extremamente confortável e espaçoso. Outstanding value for money

"Outstanding value for money. 120 Bahts/£3 away from Krabi town by Grab taxi. Modern architectural build, well designed and serving a nice mix of families, couples, singles (me) and nationalities. Try and get a poolside room if you can (there are only 4) you cant beat sliding into a cool swimming pool right on your doorstep, just after your morning coffee. Staff are brilliant. Restaurant was closed, methinks they're losing a revenue stream there given the hotel always had a fully booked sign on reception. Food can be ordered and delivered faster than any room service in the more salubrious establishments, and for a quarter of the price, so fear not you will be fed. For less than the price of a Travelodge, Id give this 11/10 if I could."

"Fantastic welcome by friendly front desk ladies. Very helpful, funny and with a big smile. Assisted us with food, visit to beach, informed us about grab taxi. Really nice experience. Hotel mainly used by Thai locals. Very friendly and most guest wanted to chat with us. Pool was clean and wonderful. Breakfast simple. "

"Stayed for the pool. There wasn't one. In the middle of nowhere. Booked 3 nights. Stayed one. Another disappointment. The lady that runs/manages the place seemed friendly enough. But clearly the glory days of this group of bungalows has seen better days It needs about 750K$ in upgrades to make it serviceable. "

"The individual bungalows are a comfortable size, with their own driveway parking place. Rooms are clean with a firm mattress. The accommodations are located on a very busy noisy road. Our unit was the first in the row of units, we figured it might be noisy through the night but manager said rest of his units were occupied and not to worry roadway will be quiet through the night. The road noise was quite loud all night, the occupants in the bungalow beside us also said they had maybe 2 hours of sleep due to traffic. There is hot water, but unfortunately our shower drained real slow and toilet would never complete a full flush. For the price I would bring my ear plugs and stay again, but the wife would not return. "
