"We were looking for somewhere nice and reasonably priced to stay in Mae Hong Son and stumbled across this place. Hotel is at edge of town but still only 15 minutes walk or so to lake. It's set back from main road so is very quiet. It doesn't have any restaurant so you will need to go somewhere for breakfast/ dinner but around lake is great for food. Rooms are styled with concrete walls and floors which works ok in warm country. "

"This property has certainly seen better days. The lobby was dark, as if they just wouldn't turn on lights. My room was OK. Very odd layout, no real great place to sit and relax, I ended up using the bed as a chair. The bathroom was also the shower. I think they call it a wet bath. I didn't particularly care for the bathroom. There was mouse poop in my room and small spiders.
