"The resort was beautiful and very peaceful and the staff were all very polite and helpful. It's a few kilometers out of town. The surrounding area gets very dark at night so you will definitely want a car or a bike to get there. "The room was good for a budget hostel however service was non existant. There was nobody at the hostel when we arrived, after waiting for over an hour in the middle of the day someone came to bring us a key but didn't speak any english. He didn't seem to be staff either. When we left the hostel, nobody was there either so we left the key on the counter. While we were waiting the first day we tried calling the hotel but when they answered and realized we were speaking english they hang up."

"The Panorama Hotel seems to have much nicer pictures than actual rooms. When we got to our room it seemed very sparse. The lighting was terrible, the soap was very limited, and the room and bathroom were not cleaned well. It was fine for one night while passing through Mae Hong Son, but I wouldn't go back."
