"Truly a beautiful stay at this hotel. The service we received from all the staff was fantastic. Breakfast was great with several options. We had dinner on the rooftop and the food and service was great. The hotel is walkable to other eateries but the roads will several motorbikes and cars can cause a bit of concern however they did not hit anyone or anything 😊. Pool area is nice but I don’t think much of the beach which is not too far away. The hotel arranged for a shuttle to take us there but we had to find our way back but that was easy enough. The area outside of the hotel looks a bit rundown. If you are looking for a nice relaxing hotel with fabulous service this hotel fits the bill."

"Great hotel with amazing staff. Breakfast was always great with Friendly wait staff. A lower pool that was nice and shady and a roof top shallow pool if you want more sun. My only negative was we had a city view and it would be loud until midnight and were early risers so not ideal. But the bed was the best we’ve had. Lots near by to walk to. Will come back but with a pool view balcony next time"

"The feel of the place was relaxing. It was the quiet season when we visited Bali so I appreciated the place not feeling too busy or over crowded. We stayed in the superior villa and I appreciated it’s authentic old feel of Bali, am grateful I didn’t book just a standard room as it was nice to walk through the gardens to our own separate hut!. The room was a little run down but it was really comfortable and we still enjoyed our stay, you’ll need to consider the stairs up to the room should you book this type of room. Overall the amenities are simple, hairdryer was weak, housekeeping was good, the place generally felt safe, although hubby tried to close the light in the wardrobe and got an electric shock due to an unusual style of wiring, overall the place felt secure and pleasant. Fresh bottled water was replaced daily for the use of brushing your teeth. The water in the shower was pleasant and warm. The pool area and swim up bar was also a little run down and the cocktails certainly needed improving, you’ll need to stick to the bottle beers or mixes if you want value for money. The staff are friendly. The complimentary shuttle twice a day to Seminyak square is helpful. But the 25 minute walk to the main heart of Seminyak is do-able. The surrounding area is pretty good. Little Revs is a 1 minute walk for good coffee and easy walking to pretty amazing eating areas too. I would certainly recommend staying at Hotel Villa Lumbung. "

"You get what you pay for here. Make aure you check your connecting door to the room next door is locked. Mine wasn't and I only realised after the first night so thankfully nothing was taken/no one came in while I was asleep from the next door room, I was travelling Solo so to find this out was really unsettling for me. The area is not walkable, you will be hounded at by passing motorbikes for a ride etc and will have to step onto the road several times just to get around parked cars, polls and other random obstacles. Would not recommend for anyone who wants to explore on foot. There were pros though, it was cheap, so thats always a plus especially with a pool. The pool was nice and big, there is really nice coffee shop across the road and as long as you are happy taking a grab or taxi everywhere, most good things Seminyak are within a 2km radius. "

"In its day (Built in (2011), this would’ve been an awesome place to stay but when you see what 13years in Balinese weather does to a Hotel you’ll think all of the web pictures have not been changed since!! Time has not been kind to this establishment unfortunately and although the young staff try hard, the place needs a FULL & COMPREHENSIVE Renovation! The location is Fantastic and Very Quiet; Easy access to Batu Belong beach and a Fantastic Warung (Jembung) next door are all points in its Favour! For $27/night (No Breakfast is curry being offered but Cafe’ 707 down the Road is Excellent!!)I certainly got my Cheap, 2 week holiday but if you are Fussy, I wouldn’t stay here as it will take you more than (I had 3 Room changes) to be Happy and Content with your stay."
