The room did not look like it had been cleaned properly. The sheets looked dirty and stained. When having a shower it flooded the whole bathroom, aircon turned on but system was broken and wouldnt open to allow air to come out. Totally different to pictures on their website. Wasnt very impressed. The power point in bathroom was broken and exposed.

I cannot comment as my room was paid for so I did not have to sleep on the streets. But I was not allowed to stay. I understand that I did not have the correct identification. Empathy look it up!!
I was with my luggage to check in this hostel. The front-end staff helped me to carry my luggage up to the second floor via staircase. The air-conditioner was quiet.
Just what we needed after a night on the drink, clean bed for crashing and clean functional (shower was excellent) bathroom. Will be using again.

Double room without ensuite
Small and basic hostel. great service, friendly atmosphere, good location, value for money for comfortable double room. Hostel was more rundown than it appears on the website and would be better with renovation.
VERY VERY noisy till the nearby clubs closed. Would stay again only if was in Perth to party and wasnt needing a good night sleep!
Just needed somewhere to sleep if you're not fussy
When out clubbing so nice and close to the town :) insead of trying to catch a cab grabbed a room here and it was perfect!

Budget hostel but must improve on room hygiene.
Stayed for three nights in a double room. Flat screen TV was surprising. Generally small and rather old but okay considering the price. Nice location, friendly staff. Fine with weekly cleaning but started getting itchy all over the body in the middle of the first night. Had to throw the blanket in the bathroom for the rest of our stay. Big minus.
The hostel was dirty and unkempt. Sofas in the communal areas are stained beyond hygienic.
I experienced cockroaches in the private room and when I reported the incident to the receptionist she didn't look surprised. I had to check out early, the room was quite expensive and I was still charged in full. Having checked reviews on TripAdvisor after the incident another person had reported the same issue back in October, but obviously nothing had been done about it. I regret not taking pictures as it would have spoken a thousand words.
The hostel staff get people to pose as if they're enjoying themselves having been involved in none of the activities as advertised. I saw this with my own eyes - false advertising at its best.
Absolutely disgusted!
Even for a hostel, this place wasnt good. Arrived in the evening and they didnt have a key for me. And since there was noone at the front desk after 8:30pm, I had to stay in my room the entire night. I ended up waiting until the next afternoon to get a key. Staff was not friendly nor helpful. Rooms were messy and was next to a courtyard that blasted bad music until 11pm. The only positive thing was its location and its price. Very close to decent food and cbd (5-10 minute walk) and next to the train station. Would not recommend this place unless budget is all that matters.
