"The best part is the friendly and professional staff members. Also the property is gorgeous! We had our own bungalow and loved the privacy. Pool is big and lots of greenery on prem. Lovely stay! Also walking distance from bus depot to go into Periyar National Forest."

"All the staff were amazing and we loved the cultural experience they provided with the cooking classes and the classical dance. The food was delicious and there was such a variety. "The property is simply fabulous. The first impression whenyou enter the property is amazing. You cross over a bridge to reach reception. Enroute there are stairs to access bird zones. Rich lush green all over, lili pods, swans, etc. We stayed with family of teens and elderly parents. We had booked huts. The rooms were very comfortable and had all facilities you would expect. "Comfortable location in the vicinity of tourist attractions, cozy homestay, owners were very polite and readily helpful, they always greeted with a polite face and very customer friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable, not many amenities provided (low pricing so understood), WiFi was decent in the room we stayed. Overall felt at home."

Good location close to the entrance to the reserve and 15 mins walk from the reserve ticket office and pick-up point for the reserve trips. "Overall, the property was very nice and good value. Just a couple of maintenance related issues such as the balcony door was misaligned and was not easy to lock. The bathroom door was squeaky and the bright air conditioning light would not turn off with the remote. I also strongly recommend the management to consider putting some contrast strips on stairs. "Old traditional hotel but rooms are in terrible decaying conditions and very dirty. Only a small portion in a newer building has renovated rooms. Pillows smelled so bad like never washed that I had to use a towel to cover them, but bed sheets were clean. Issues with old wood structure and termite damage in the rooms as well as very dirty bathroom. Friendly reception was very helpful arranging a morning safari but seemed embarrassed themselves about the neglected conditions of the rooms. Thekkady...
