"Pretty setting. Hotel restaurant is apparently good but we were unable to make a reservation. Communication was difficult as the staff exclusively spoke French and were unable to communicate with us in English, German or Italian - while we were able to understand the gist, it is surprising for a hotel that presumably attracts a diverse clientele. No hairdryer in room and WiFi was unreliable. Overall it is surprising that the hotel has a 4 star rating as that was not our experience."

"Cheap and very basic. Handy to find somewhere for £60 a night that has a fridge, mini kitchen. Underground parking cost extra. Breakfast was basic, not much choice. Worst thing was that it’s right on top of railway lines and from about 5am onwards you hear a loud alarm going off (to warn of an oncoming train) followed by the thunderous noise of the train going past "

"We had an amazing time at this hotel! The rooms are impeccable, the spa, the pool and the general atmosphere is very relaxing and very welcoming! We liked the service, especially at the bar and the buffet style restaurant La Veranda.The only slight disappointment was the fact that we were not able in 5 days of our stay to book a dinner reservation at Les Fresques. I stayed for a long weekend, and although the room was very nice, and I got a balcony, there was a bit of a stale smell in the bathroom, and although opening a window helped, it was not very handy being it was a bit cold.
