"Getting a Taxi to Patong cost $10 each way. There is a hotel shuttle but it has pretty limited service. The staff was excellent but they are limited by company policies. The cleaners don’t give fresh towels. We were there for 10 days and I had to hand in the towels at the half way mark and then wait hours before we got any back. One day we didn’t get cleaning (they must have missed us) so we didn’t get water, they charged us $3 USD per bottle. One day we had no toilet paper and I had to go...

"It took me quite a while to locate this hotel with the aid of policemen and friendly locals within the area. The old security officer at the post was the best. He showed me where to park my car and followed me to the basement carpark and handed over my room keys personally as there weren't any Art@Patong staff when i had arrived. So i told myself, this better be a good hotel.. which it was. I like the room very much. But the access card could do some renewal please. Apparently it was not...

"The room was gorgeous and spacious with a huge terrace over looking the beach. Some communal areas upstairs were a bit worn and untidy but the restauyrabt downstairs was also beautiful. The only downside to our stay was the AC was broken. The hotel went out of their way to try to fix it but two nights we slept with extra fans as the AC was beyond repair. It was unbearably humid! The staff were very apologetic and did atheu could. "

"Group of 8 20 year olds stayed here for 6 nights with 6 rooms. The rooms were extremely clean and cleaned again every day. Our stay felt very secure and we were able to come and ago as we pleased. There was some confusement with payment as we payed/booked through hotels.com and there was a delay with Dydi receiving this money. However the whole situation was dealt with calmly and smoothly. "Elevator was broke my entire stay. Water dripped from the ceiling in the bathroom from a leak. The hotel never notified the booking agency of their new email address, so when I arrived they didn’t have my reservation. An hour and a half later I convinced the front desk to allow me to pay cash for a room and get reimbursed when the reservation came through. A quiet location and good restaurants nearby. The shower was decent."
