"This is a lovely, small, historic hotel. It is also a museum. The breakfast was hearty and beautifully presented. The neighborhood is going through major restoration, but it was not noisy or inconvenient for us. We stayed there twice during our time in the DR and enjoyed both visits. "

"Everything was very good but our arrival and first evening was ruined by this small boutique hotel being taken over by a wedding party denying us the opportunity to dine there on what was a wet night outside. Guests must be told in advance of such events so they can find peace and tranquility elsewhere. "

"Overall, I had a very good stay there and will return. Here are some suggestions for improvement: Parking lot is under construction - not a great place to park. Also, on demand hot water system doesn't always produce hot water. Breakfast could also be improved."

"The hotel is amazing. Great hidden jewel in Zona colonial. Great service, great room. The restaurant is a must! Area outside of the hotel is a bit sketchy but it is normal, probably dont walk alone late at night. But during the day is safe. "
