"Under new management.New mgr.and family are extremely hospitable and very eager to please and insure guests are satisfied.Although,they are making great improvements to the property,they have a big job ahead fixing the neglected repairs and upkeep prior MGMT ignored.Needs more housekeeping staff.Also can use some updates on furniture and curtains definitely.overall for the price and location I was satisfied.mo bugs in my room,ac cold,clean."

"We first looked at the Motel across the street. It was terrible! Lake Roy was a nice clean facility the staff was very friendly, the only thing was we had to stay in a upstairs room and im handicap. They do not offer an elevator! Over all it was good ! "

"The staff was amazing and prompt when getting extras(towels,pillow,etc). They had a power outage(not their fault) It was cold and the heater did not seemed to be pushing out enough heat, but it was manageble"
