"The property was pretty and the rooms were modern and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly. We told them we had to leave earlier than the breakfast time on the last day, and they brought a selection of food to us the evening before without us even asking. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting the area."

"Coup de coeur ❤️❤️ Tout est parfait chez dona flor. Chambres parfaites, matelas de qualité et équipées d'un petit frigo avec accès aux terrases et piscine. Nous etions 4 ( 2 adultes et 2 enfants) et c'était parfait. Joli jardin avec pleins de plantes. Petit dejeuner excellent où tout est fait maison. "Il n’y avait personne à la réception à notre arrivée, mais nous avons finalement trouvé quelqu’un à la piscine. Endroit agréable pour se reposer, prendre un verre et une petite collation. Le site est très bien, mais les alentours sont un peu délabrés, mais rapidement on rejoint le centre et on y trouve des restos dont le Kilo très bon choix. Bon déjeuner à l’hôtel et le serveur est super sympathique. "

"Disappointing area. Absolutely nothing there. Did not appreciate gardener strimming and cutting the grass before 7am, he was still there when we left at 10. Wi-Fi didn’t work. Staff were lovely"

"Really great spot that epitomizes the south west of Puglia. Lovely old buildings that have been renovated. Great pool. Unfortunately this was out of action the day we wanted to use it, but I still had a dip in the bambino pool! Horses surround the property too, so day hello. Great, grand main building too, with a lovely Edra lounge in the entrance, and frescos all throughout. Definitely worth a stay!"

Palazzo Sant'Anna Lecce

10/10 Excellent

"The staff at the Palazzo were over the top. This Palace is so beautiful and very clean. I would definitely stay here again. The reception staff Alonso, Matteo, Virgile, Isabella, Virgilio were very kind and helpful. They suggested places to visit things to do in the area and booked dinner reservations. The Restaurants that they suggested were excellent and all within walking distance. The Place suggested a spa. We had a couples massage with Claudia and Enza. This is one of the best massages we have ever experienced. Thank you Ladies. Claudia and Enza are very professional and kind. The Spa is amazing. We also met the owners of the Palace and had a very nice conversation. It was a pleasure to meet them. A shout out for Alfonso which is a very special person. Borgo Mulino a Vento - Resort

"We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. We don’t usually choose half board but we are glad we did! The first night there was a buffet in the garden, of local food, this was the best buffet I have ever had, everything was so fresh and tasty and there was lots of vegetarian choice. We ate off the a la carte menu our other 2 nights, which again was amazing food, with lots of choice, as was breakfast. The pool area is lovely and the hotel is only a 10 minute drive to the lovely town of Otranto. We had a standard room, the only criticism is the bathroom could do with a bit of an update, the shower wasn’t great with poor pressure if you had it on warm. There was live music and dancing one night and we enjoyed the tour of the underground Oil Mill and Olive Oil Tasting which was provided by the hotel. "

Grand Hotel di Lecce

10/10 Excellent

" This is not a Grand hotel in the sense of the Danieli or Excelsior, however, that is probably because they choose not to have a restaurant, even though they put out a sumptuous breakfast and have a commercial kitchen and plenty of staff. Our room had filthy old green carpeting, but we noticed in the long hallway that some rooms have modern wood flooring, which is much more sanitary I don't know why we weren't given the upgrade since we are hotel gold members. The only other issue was the parking which we tried to reserve well in advance, but was unavailable, which was disappointing since we have a brand new Mercedes-Benz . The staff was very pleasant and the bathroom was spacious and had the best shower of our trip. Overall, it was good value for the money and it's probably one of the better hotels in Lecce."
