"Hotel has a very nice view, but you need to get a Superior room to experience it fully. Swimming pool is good with nearly infinity effect. Service and food is terrible. They refused to provide Ala carte menu if the buffet is open, so no room service if the buffet is open!!! Buffet is not worth the price we paid. Poor maintenance. Visitors are usually large groups, so hotel is bit loud, specially in pool area. The hotel is good for a group hangout, but not recommended for a romantic or quiet...

"Do not do business with this hotel. This hotel cancelled my reservation without notifying me before my stay. They overbooked the entire hotel and had no more rooms left even after having a booking confirmation number and payment. They also wouldn't refund me even after I wasn't able to stay there. It took 3 weeks to get my money back after many calls with them. I wouldn't ever stay here. There is however a bungalow house nearby that I'd absolutely recommend instead of this hotel. "

"The lodge is located in a secluded area. It would be perfect for families or groups to use the entire property for themselves. As a solo traveler not so good unless you prefer solitude. Gamigi the steward who runs the property is very attentive and helpful. I had 2 good breakfast and a very good traditional Sri Lanka food for dinner. I enjoyed my brief stay. My room was very large with a large bathroom and air conditioning. It was very comfortable and quiet ;)"
