"It is a lovely hotel with beautiful gardens. Most of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.The rooms are big and spacious. Be aware if you are in a room in the main building you can hear music playing downstairs till 11pm. If you are planning to take advantage of spa treatments, I would call them in advance to make sure the spa will be open during your stay. "Stayed in Villa 14 & it was amazing. The service daily, the chef and the property were all immaculate. It’s great even for American standards. My only precaution would be if you’re afraid of bugs and the occasional lizard have someone else with you. As a kid I always dealt with this in a rural town so it didn’t bother me but surely a city slicker may find it problematic. All of the staff were top notch."
