What a wonderful spot. So quiet, so peaceful, fresh towels all day long, robust air conditioned rooms, well stocked kitchenette, delicious cold filtered water by the pool, and CRUSHED ICE from the ice maker. Had a very hard time getting the AC to work. Communication is done via text. I texted for help with the AC at 7:42pm. I received an automated response saying “Thanks for contacting old ranch inn. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.” We never received a text back. That night we went to bed hot and sweaty. It was 111 degrees that day. You can imagine how horrible this was. The next morning, we left at 6am. We could not take it anymore. We later found out that the AC needed a remote to get going. We also later found out that the remote was under the bed when we were packing. Not cool. Could it have been an accident? Sure. But no communication back when it was extremely hot is ridiculous. If the way they communicate is by text, then that’s what they need to do. There was no one on site to help. Never again.
