The breakfast in the morning was lovely, with a really friendly host and great cake! From there, we drove to Segesta to see the amphitheatre and temple which were amazing."

"Location is superb for spending a few days exploring western Sicily (with a car). Very friendly, helpful reception-- Diego even printed the ferry schedule for us. Beautiful views-- Erice, day and night, and Trapani at sunset (over Mediterranean) are fantastic. Generous breakfast spread each morning & very good dinners on the half-board. "This was the last stop in our 21 day trip to Italy/sicily. We were feeling the fatigue of a long trip. Then we arrived at Casolare nelle Saline. We were warmly greeted by our hosts and shown to our room. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and had a sense of open air. We took a short walk around and found ruins from windmills used in the salt production. We took a brief drive around discovering a rich history in Trapani.
