"Beautiful estate with a pool to-die-for. Nice breakfast, but no vegan options...I had written the owners with questions ahead of time, but never received a response. And while the stable rooms are large, the walls are paper-thin and you can hear your neighbors (tv, conversations, blowing noses.)"

"I had business to attend to early the morning so the obvious overnight place was Nuwerus. Comfortable, clean, well appointed, nice breakfast (With the fire burning ) friendly hosts, enough parking and quick to the N1. Its really a pleasure to book in, book out etc and if available we try not to stay anywhere else."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Laborie Estate. The estate is beautiful, wonderful views, great breakfast and a cozy apartment. Everyday fresh water in the fridge, coffee in the room, everyone was very friendly. Only comment I have is that it felt a bit anonymous and communication wasn‘t too great. We arrived late due to a delay in our flight, and we were just left with a message that due to problems with the credit card they were to cancel our room if we don’t show up till 5pm. "We booked the manor. Without informing us they placed us in a garden room. When we noticed this they informed us that the room in the manor was claimed by the owner. At the end they solved it well they gave us a house. In general Diemersfontein is outdated. Staff is very friendly and the food in the restaurant is good. "

"What a sweet place! This was absolutely perfect for our family of four. They allowed us to extend our stay for an extra night and were super accommodating! Our cottage was a cozy little haven for us. The cottage is perfectly located to many great restaurants & wineries! We highly recommend & look forward to coming back again!"

"Very beautiful place with very welcoming owners. This break at the end of the working day was very relaxing. For Europeans not used to loadshedding, bring mosquito repellent to protect yourself from their arrival when the fan stops! This will not stop me from coming back each time I will visit Paarl. I will then also be able to dine at the restaurant, which I have heard so much about."

Great tranquil and beautiful place.

"This property is next level amazing. The food is wonderful, the picnics, various restaurants, to say nothing of the wine. We stayed in a retreat cottage which is amazing and well appointed. The staff are great. I was with my wife and four year old daughter and we loved it all. My daughter did horse tours and we just had a truly perfect experience here staying for a week. It’s magical. The property is expansive and offer a lot of great things to do. The kids club is out of this world. The wine region around is so much fun. "
