"What an absolutely fascinating place. Like uncanny valley in hotel form. Middle of absolute nowhere Saskatchewan and we are greeted by one of the owners who doesn’t speak any English but communicates us to go pick a room upstairs. We go upstairs and choose a room that fits the criteria of what we booked. All non-occupied doors are unlocked. There’s 2 fridges that are unplugged in this oddly spacious hallway, and a Christmas tree in the stairwell (it’s May). There’s also a giant CRT tv that was not confirmed if it was working. We had to find dinner in a neighbouring town, and when we came back we’re greeted by the other owner who had enough English to get us checked in and paid. Comfortable enough beds and everything worked well enough. Would recommend if you’re the adventurous type"

What are holiday rentals like in Outlook?
Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Outlook. Holiday rentals feature extras such as kitchens and laundry facilities so you'll be comfy for your stay. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can provide a sense of seclusion away from shared hotel lifts and busy reception areas while still allowing you to travel. You'll also have more space in a holiday rental than in a standard hotel, which makes a holiday rental a popular option for a small group gathering.
