"Hotel itself was nice - rooms are exceptionally clean and well renovated. Beds were nice but a bit on a harder side. Very nice pillows. Great convenient kitchen, appliances, set of dishes, etc. Nice sitting room, dining space and place to do remote work if needed. Plenty of wardrobe and storage space. Walking distance to restaurants and the shopping centre. Cons: long lineups at the elevators, not very clean outside, many homeless people around. Some People on the street were not friendly, approaching with vulgar advances without any reason whatsoever. Felt not safe and was ready to exercise self defence actions. "

"It was a marvellous experience. Right from the welcome stage. Was checked in by Peter, who is amazing at the front desk. Lovely attitude and affable. The staff is polite and helpful. Great place to stay at an affordable price. The location is great as almost every location within the Parliament Hill area is reachable on foot..At the same time, the location is quaint and silent. Strongly recommend to give it a try compared to Fairmont or Elgin Hotel. "

"First time staying at Andaz Ottawa Hotel for family XMAS who lives in city of Orleans (15 minutes away) I rented 2 rooms for my family and welcome desk Mr Pirami gave excellent service, attentive to our needs, answered all our questions, courteous and professional! No parking in the hotel. Valet parking was $45. Very convenient walking location. Will recommend this chain by Hyatt!"
