We had an older room on the main floor where the windows could be opened like patio doors. Maybe nice in the summer but not the safest. Room was okay otherwise. Curtains were a bit torn. Breakfast in basement, standard options. Amazing tech staff on the phone - they connected our Chromecast no problem.

The hotel is right across the street from the St. Laurent shopping centre which is a key local transport hub, so to travel around Ottawa from this point is easy to do once you figure out how to use the O-Train and numerous bus routes.

The room is clean and neat, the mattress and pillows are really comfy. But the soundproofing is not really good and the washroom exhaust fan is really nosy. The shower water pressure is not good enough. Only 1 night stay and good price, it is acceptable.
