The second night I was satisfied because the food I ordered was what I ordered. The first night's food was cheaper than what I paid for and there was no apology or refund from anyone. "Chalet Ivy Jozankei went above and beyond our expectations. The deluxe room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed every details they had in the room, common area and restaurant. The staff were all super friendly and nice. We will definitely recommend Chalet Ivy to all of our friends and family. The dinner and breakfast meals were amazing. We had such an incredible time here that We didn’t want to leave! "

"Exceptional hospitality, food, and amenities - It's a highlight of our trip. When we arrived at property, almost entire staff greeted us on the street by the entrance. Kaiseki meals were wonderful. The second floor recreation room was a happy place to be -Zen garden view, delicious snacks, drinks, and late night soup... The rooms were clean and spacious. Onsen pools were nice, especially the roof top one. We look forward to our next trip there"

"This was the best hotel experience in our Hokkaido trip! Service was top-notched and the staff was treated you with genuine care, give us home feelings and very patient even if we can’t speak Japanese. Food was freshly and delicious prepared in course for both dinner and breakfast. Private onsen is well-maintained. Definitely will stay again! "

"The location is very good and the property is well maintained. Only complaint was the gentleman at front desk that I asked about the spa he was not very patient and does not want me to finish talking before he talks. Very rare for a Japanese to behave like that."
