The hotel is dirty the room rinks of urine and feces. Hotel staff is rude and not helpful. Drug addicts ans drunks hanging around property which staff refuses to do anything about. Poor lighting just unsafe all around. Wouldnt recommend to my worst enemy.

For a room at this rate it was excellent. Clean, quite, great TV, good shower, working fridge and microwave in the room. Their continental breakfast was well stocked and had friendly staff. Any room that is clean and offers free waffles in the morning is good with me! VERY close to Universal studios. not quite walkable, but a very short drive. Right next to mini golf, restaurants and walgreens. Very nice pool and child play ground as well. I will be staying here again.

First let me say that the Front Desk Person, Diana, was the MOST helpful. I can't even list the things she went out of her way to do for us. Our satisfaction was of utmost importance to her. I'm sure other guests would agree. We only had 2 issues with our room and they were minor: 1) It was a shower and not a tub. After walking for MILES on the 1st day we needed to soak, but couldnt. 2) All of the TV channels worked fine except FOX. You could see it, but not hear it. Maintenance came and tried various remote and TV options, to no avail. I'm sure 1/2 of these readers would be happy about that :-D but I had my iPad so we were still happy ;-) For the price we were VERY pleased. SO close to Universal. Breakfast (waffles YUM and other items on the menu) and wow you just can't beat if for the price. TIP: Sign up 2 hours in advance for the shuttle to pick you up for the next morning to take you to the parks, BUT coming back is difficult to get back during the time the shuttle departs. So do this...... Take the free DOCKSIDE shuttle back to the Universal's Dockside Resort (on our side of I-4) and then just walk around the block to our hotel :-) (Saves $30 - $50 per day parking) You're Welcome

Property is very close to universal studios and the free theme park shuttle was a nice bonus (especially since this hotel was the last stop on route to the theme park and first stop on the return route). However, choices for am and pm pick up and drop off times is limited to only 2 options. We did the 7:20 am pickup and 5 pm return.

Checked into our room and noticed small bugs (ants) crawling on the window ledge and checked the bed and they were also on the bed spread. The hotel staff moved us to another room with no bugs and upon check out did not even acknowledge anything about the bugs or room move. This place needs a make over and an exterminator.
