"We stayed one night as a quick visit. The hotel is located at the end of the onsen strip. It's a older hotel. Lights are dimmer than the ones in the cities. We like that we get futons and sleep on the floor. Front desk staff speaks limited English, but they try their best to answer our questions. They will use a translator to help us understand if we have questions. They also loan out yukata for us to wear and we can onsen hop to other hotel onsen at no additional charge. "The hotel is in a beautiful location but if you want to go into town it’s a very long walk. Hotel offers shuttle service but limited schedule to return. Very few taxis available. The staff is very helpful to accommodate you but you must plan in advance. The onsen in the hotel is very nice with stunning ocean views."

"The staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful. The onsen at the hotel was possibly the best of the big onsens in Kinosaki. They provided great amenities and the outdoor space was beautiful with a terrific cold plunge. The room was beautiful and clean. "

"We stayed for one night while visiting Kinosaki Onsen. The staff was very pleasant, the room was nice and clean, and the food served for breakfast and dinner was very good. There’s a small public bath which was very clean and nice, and was always empty when I went in so it was wonderful. Very quaint, traditional Japanese ryokan. "

"The premises were absolutely gorgeous and tranquil. The room attendant Mr. Koyama’s hospitality was excellent. Having been living away from Japan, for too long, I cannot judge the Kaiseki cuisine… it did look very beautiful… I was hoping a little more of the crab in season. I wished I could have stayed an extra day or two. Thank you!"

"This was our last night away and we had a great night, the room had a hot tub on the balcony facing the beach it was lovely. We also had a tatami room and king size bed which was very comfortable. Fantastic spot."

"Couldn’t have started our stay any better with a warm and detailed welcome from a real person who spoke good English. She was funny, warm and went out of her way to be helpful. Then we had a lovely introduction to our room with a lesson on how to wear a yukata and were made and served a pot of tea. It felt such a cultural welcome and the room was a very Japanese cultural room with futons, mats as low furniture. We were given free passes to all the onsens in town and had a lovely time visiting...

"Really great hotel outside of the of the hubbub. Spa is basic but wonderful not crowded. The surrounding area is full of nature and boats. It’s quiet and it’s peaceful. Our room was a traditional room with the tatami mats. It had a kettle and little sweet treats. Overall it was great. Would stay there again even though it’s on the other side of the river. We came by bike and we could park our bikes no problem. "
