"It’s an old building, beautifully preserved, with excellent service, great food (enough for 2 vegetarians to survive), a wonderful breakfast, amazing views (though we did not have one from our lovely room) and a bridge to the old town. "The views from this hotel are to die for -- a stunning vista of a natural gorge, medieval walls, the monastery-become-parador across the gorge, and the whole hill town curving down below this hotel. The supplement for the good view and balcony are so worth it! Otherwise a fine hotel in a wonderful setting, even if the breakfast spread was a little disappointing. "

"We had the room at the top of the hotel which was up a flight of stairs after the lift got to the top. It was stunning. A small totally private rooftop patio gave us 270 degree views over the awesome scenery and the old town. A small window the other side looked down through the valley to the new town. Breathtaking! Excellent conversion of a heritage (I assume) building. Our only problem was we didn't stay long enough."

"If you stay at this hotel make sure you do not stay on the 6th floor. On the 7th floor there is a restaurant and you hear the constant moving of chairs and tables. This is a great hotel other than that. Perfectly located but you do need to walk a bit to the free parking. With all this said I recommend this hotel anyway"

"Probably the best room I've ever booked! Very large and very comfortable. The hotel not much to look at from the outside but beautiful inside. Well placed for all the places of interest and for a good selection of restaurants. Parking, quite pricey, but only about 50 yards from the hotel who arrange a small discount.
