"We loved the property. The views were breathtaking and despite the extreme weather, we were always very warm & cozy. The hot tub too was outstanding. The one thing I would have fixed would be the issue with the locks not actually locking. I understand it is a rural area with little to no crime, but as a foreigner from a place that has plenty of crime, it was a bit worrisome leaving for the day’s excursions with the knowledge that the door could not properly lock. Even still, nothing happened which is a credit to the property and the surrounding community. We would happily stay there again and I stand by my high rating."

"Beautiful location and wonderful rooms! The staff was incredibly accommodating when our rental car had a flat tire. They helped us greatly by assisting us with pumping the tire and gave us directions to a local auto shop. Thank you!!"

"The hotel is small, but everything exceeded our expectation. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room is very clean. The location is superb for visiting Geysir. Breakfast included at Hotel Geysir is great. We had a very good stay!"
