It would be even better if hotel adopted Dark Skies policies, as many guests like to catch the northern lights but there are too many poorly positioned path lights, patio lights and lights on the various buildings - and unfortunately it wasn’t possible to turn off or adjust lights. "Our stay here was amazing! I was really impressed - the service was great, we were able to request a twin room instead of double, and they stored our luggage while we killed time before check-in. The room itself was spacious enough for two. It was really just a place to sleep after long days traveling around the island, and we did not find noise to be an issue. The ear plugs were helpful anyway. Shower was great - solid water pressure. Nice to have tap water for filling my water bottle. Plenty of space to spread out our belongings. We made tea many times and used the mini fridge to store some of our groceries like skyr and sandwich ingredients and milk for tea. The highlight was the breakfast - there was such a variety that really exceeded my expectations. I was expecting an airport lounge-type breakfast buffet, but here there were baked beans, hash browns, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, cottage cheese, chia pudding, muesli, oatmeal, fresh fruit - even cod oil for your morning beverage. The highlight for us were the flapjacks as part of the array of fresh pastries - we ate so many each morning, they were SO delicious! Overall, 10/10. Really wonderful experience for the price. I don't have a single complaint."

"Great property and wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the space and privacy of our family studio. The kitchen is well stocked for everything needed to make a meal. We were able to easily fry bacon for our homemade sandwiches plus the complimentary milk, juice, coffee and cornflake careal was an excellent accommodation. Location was also perfect for frequent visits around the city."
