Very good location in Oamaru. Easy walk to all of Victorian area and even Blue Penguin Colony is walkable. Hotel is a bit dated, but rooms are good-sized, clean, and comfortable.

Beautiful old hotel. Very quiet. Everything is close. Walked to the penquin exhibit, bought our tickets and returned in the evening to watch the penguins return. No photography allowed during their return. Are at a local restaurant across the street from our hotel. Wonderful stay.
