The property was old but well kept and clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating . Room was clean.

Staff were very friendly and room seemed clean overall (except for mold/dirt around bathroom window frame). This is a very basic, old-fashioned motel in a not-so-nice part of Berkeley. It was fine for a one night stay for a good price. Free parking was a plus.

It was clean and comfortable. Felt safe and was in great location. Staff was nice. My critique is that there was no air conditioning. You just had a fan. Granted, it is the Bay Area and doesn’t get too hot. Also, if you wanted any shampoo or conditioner or soap you have to ask for it as it’s not in the room.

My husband and I were picking up our son from Summer School, we needed a place to stay for only one night and came across this hotel in Expedia. It’s a nice small hotel. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Bathroom clean. Fast and easy check in and check out. Restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It’s a great option, and we highly recommend it.

Nice place to stay, in the heart of all things Berkeley! Easy walk to cute coffee shops and eateries. Asian, Mexican, and many other types of restaurants are a short walk. The price was great comparatively to bigger name hotels and motels.

This is an old property that is well maintained. The staff was awesome! I was staying to attend an event at UC Berkeley. At the event I seriously cut my finger. In the morning after I needed a bandaid. They not only gave me a bandage, they also provided antibiotic ointment. I felt taken care of and really appreciated that. I’d definitely stay here again if I catch another show at the Greek Theater at UC Berkeley/
