"The whole place needs massive renovations and did not jusify paying over 3100 euros for a 1 bedroom apartment. Considering the week after (we went on UK half term) the price drops to a third of a price, I would consider it a total rip off and taking customers for a ride. The owners admitted they are going through a 4 Million euro renovation project next summer which goes to show the state Alpina property. Don't go there until it is renovated in 2026. "

"Lovely, quiet, tons of space. Cows grazing in the backyard which we watched from the deck. Be aware there are no restaurants so get groceries before to cook in the full kitchen. Luckily we found a food truck"

"Communication for property was fine. Told us codes etc in a SMS message. Upon entering the property the place seemed clean until you saw up close. We were a family of five and the accommodation served its purpose. It was close to the kids ski schools. The bath / shower water was very temperamental. If a kid was left on there own they could have scalded themselves. The electrical outlets needed changing as the adapters did not stay in place. The bed linen was left in packaging for us to...

"La résidence n'équivaut pas à un 4 étoiles. Les parties communes sont assez vétustes. L'appartement que nous avions, prévu pour 6 personnes est "confortable" pour deux ou trois personnes seulement. Les équipements et le mobilier sont vieillots. L'armement hôtelier n'est absolument pas conçu pour 6 personnes. Il n'y a d'ailleurs que 5 chaises dans l'appartement ! "Bardonecchia is a ski resort, so accomodations are mostly ski lodges. Do not expect any large hotel chains here. We were here for 5 nights in June and had a great time. Location is close to train station and to the main street where you can find lots of restsurants. The views are amazing and did lots of walks. "Convenient hotel for La Daille lifts and funicular train. Supermarket and tabac opposite. Good for a family holiday. Not a luxury hotel by any means but clean and well equipped rooms with comfy beds and kitchenette. We had breakfasts and most dinners here no problem. Would recommend for a reasonably priced hotel for family ski. "

"make it way shorter and more informal We had an amazing stay at Victoria Lodge Hotel! The staff were incredible—our bags didn’t arrive for three days, and they went above and beyond to help us sort it out. They also helped us book all our ski activities and transportation, which made everything so easy. The location is perfect, the rooms are super comfy, and the price was great. Highly recommend! "

Italian Kellermans - Love it!

"Due to flight cancellations we needed an extra day in Italy, and why spend it at the airport when you can extend your stay in the mountains? So we booked Majestic Sansicario because our other hotel couldn’t accommodate us another day. Omg! What a discovery - it’s like Italian Kellermans! High up in Sansicario Alta, the views were spectacular! The facilities were gorgeous, and the hospitality was delightful. The hotel accommodates all for dinner, and it was surprisingly delightful and creative. The vegetarian options were fabulous. We love skiing and riding Via Lattea, and will definitely come back, and Majestic Sansicario would be a great place to stay . Only downside is the harrowing drive up the mountain, I recommend doing it at night if you get vertigo. "
