"Arrival at the property was disappointing. It took a while to get hold of the lodge manager , as no one was at the gate to open. Dispute notices about dangerous animals, I was still expected to get out of the car and open the gate, same at check out too. This was is irresponsible as if puts guests in danger! "Spending time at Tambuti Lodge is like spending time with your family but with 5 star service. Malcolm is a fantastic host who cannot do enough to make his visitors comfortable. "Amazing resort in Pilanesberg. Very high standard of service. Food and service first class. Safari vehicles well maintained and comfortable. Even have comfort stop during drives. Our ranger excellent (Jaktah-probably spelt incorrectly sorry) with vast knowledge of wildlife and birdlife. Saw big five. Each drive very different in terms of viewing and terrain. "I found a place that the air cnditioning was very important. They confirned that there was air conditioning in the room. When we got there he said 'sorry aircon not working but we giving you a fan' A loud noisy fan which did nothing except move hot air from side to side. We did not sleep the entire night. Without aircon the mosquitos had a field day on us. Very disappointed and will not use again. "
