"The area surrounding the property was not in a safe neighborhood. However the hotel is enclosed all around by privacy fencing and barbed wire that you cannot see from inside the pool and gardens area. Parking is also enclosed within the fenced area. I felt like the hitel was an oasis and i felt safe within the property. Wonderful hot breakfast buffet included in price."

Close enough to restaurant row and the beach but, far enough to have perfect peace and quiet in the evening. "We spent 5 days in Tamarindo and really liked the Best Western. We had a small balcony, but didn't use that so much as the upstairs patio area that was near the pool. We could catch a breeze there when it was hot and in general it was a nice comfortable space to hang out when we weren't doing something outside the hotel area. Visitors should be aware that on Friday nights, there is a very loud party with music that does on until about 2 AM. We were not made aware of this until we arrived but it...
