"Convenient location with Starbucks a supermarket and many restaurants nearby staff were helpful beds where clean with white bedding in general cleanliness was good bathrooms were new unfortunately showers on upper floors were unusable due to poor water pressure kitchen was not adequate very small with no seating and poor condition Building was generally run down with flaking paint plaster falling off ceiling electrics were scary extension chords bare wires and taped up damaged chords "

"The Generator is fantastic!! I stayed in one of the pods. If you haven't done it, you have to try it! I slept amazingly well and they are so comfy and cozy! The staff is very helpful and easy going. The breakfast is delcious and not too expensive. Save some $$ and pre-buy your breakfast at the front desk. :) Neat history...fun place...good price!!"

"everyone was so friendly and accommodating! maid comes in every day so the place is never gross, staff is really good about keeping the vibes positive and safe!"

"The staff and other guests treated me very warmly and made me feel as though I could ask for help if needed. The resident feline added the extra cosy touch, and having a Lidl on the doorstep is a very convenient and inexpensive alternative to city restaurants."

"Oh, what a wonderful Hostel this is. It is brandnew and everything was just perfect! I loved the interior and details and the staff was superfriendly and welcomming. It is also located in a lovely neighbourhood easy to walk to the city center or with the tram in front of the door."

"Property is well located for sightseeing and on a busy street with a supermarket and plenty of food options. Staff were friendly enough and bag store was there for keeping luggage safe after checkout etc. It is run down though and if you dont like steep stairs then it's not one to visit (though this can be said of most Amsterdam hotels). Little things like dirty doors around door handles, and no air con let it down. It was SUPER hot in our room overnight even with the fan provided. It was about...
