"A little birthday weekend away with our two spaniels and what a fantastic place. This is obviously someone’s home it was perfect. It had everything. From fold up tables to eat at if you didn’t want to use the breakfast bar, to recliner chairs and sofa. The whole house was spotless and we felt welcome from the moment we received the arrival instructions from the owner. "needed a well needed rest after a busy year.After a long search of hotels around york we found this beautiful cottage just outside york,and needless to say it was just what we needed.lovely cottaged estate.we booked the 3 bedroomed cottage,fairview i think it was called.beautiful inside and out.no expense spared on the inside,very relaxing.we are already thinking about booking next year.would highly recommend."

"The chalet was excellent clean comfortable everything you need the owners have left nothing out to make it very enjoyable stay excellent value for money and the owners are lovely people, we are going to book again "

"SCAM!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!! Paid for my sons birthday weekend away (4y.o) drove 2.5 hours to get here and the host didnt send us entry code to the apartment so couldnt get in. Expedia confirmed all booking, tried to contact the host but blocking my calle. Texts delivered and left voicemails asking to call us but had no reply. Took our money and put a case with expedia and they refused to refund ao had to contact fraud department with my bank and pay for a hotel late at night instead!! Ruined...

"We really enjoyed our stay here, the property was well equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. I do think the property does need updating a little and it would have been nice if the hot tub had been filled on arrival, the hot tub also needs a cover as unless you like cold feb rain wouldn’t have been enjoyable. "Checked in early ...Much appreciated after a long haul flight. Quick check in. Plenty of free parking immediately outside hotel room. Room was great size on the ground floor but with fencing in front of the windows for privacy which I loved. Big bathroom great shower. Bed very comfortable. Coffee and tea facilities. Quiet room despite a few events being held in a hall opposite. Great location for me visiting family. Definitely recommend. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND A CAR I think it would be difficult to reach using public transport. Expensive using Taxi/ Uber "
